OBS: Computer simulations are used in many fields, including science, technology, entertainment, and business planning and scheduling.

    Creator of advertising vignettes for the local TV network: planning and execution. Computer animation on Commodore AMIGA computer ( Amiga 500 and Amiga 1200 ).
    Worked with computer MSX making programs in Basic and Assembler.
System Analyst

from 1972 to 1974

    Worked for a private engineering company (CMC) in Rio de Janeiro. Analysis and implementation of a cost system for use on IBM/360 and then translation of this system for use on a Burroughs – 1700 (both on COBOL language), programs in Basic, operation of a 1700 computer.

    As an engineering student, worked as a teacher of mathematics, drawing, perspective, and descriptive geometry in Rio de Janeiro.

    Worked drawing houseplants, perspective, and maps at SURSAN (Urbanization and Sanitation Authority of Rio de Janeiro).
Hotel owner and manager

from March 1989 to Present

    Owner and manager of Grindelwald Hotel Chalet in Nova Friburgo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A bed & breakfast enterprise over the hills in the vicinity of Rio de Janeiro, of his own conception, from drawing board to building, painting, artistic details and landscaping, and website on the INTERNET ( see at http://www.grindelwald.com.br )
    Also, a Member of the Board of Directors of the Nova Friburgo Hotel and Restaurant Association.
Cuckoo clocks craftmanship

from 1993 to Present

    Starting with airplane modelling at age seven, has worked with different materials (wood, leather, copper, silver, fiberglass, and resine) and arts (oil painting, aquarele, sculpture, silkscreen, airbrush, serigraphs), has also produced cuckoo clocks in Brazilian hardwood, all handmade.     Two exhibitions of cuckoo clocks at the Nova Friburgo Country Club, the first in November 1993, and the second in May 1995; also, an exhibition of crayon drawings at the art gallery of Banco do Brasil in Nova Friburgo, in September 1996. 
Hang-Gliding (equipments)

from 1974 to 1988

     Creator of new types of harnesses and cocoons, launched a line of exceptionally secure and visually attractive safety equipment (Cintos Edu) ( see hang-glider ).
    For being one of the first hang-gliders in Brazil (also one of the first surfers and windsurfers), and for being  the first Vice-President of the Brazilian Hang-gliders Association (ABVL), he received in 1997 a Motion of Praise and Recognition  from the Rio de Janeiro`s City Council  for stimulating tourism to this city.
